THE S-A SURFARI ADVENTURE JUST GOT CHEAPER!!!

For the month of April we're offering a discount on bookings of 2 or more people on our Surfari Adventures - a saving of up to €50 per person!

This means you can experience the the world's most exciting surf road-trip adventure at an even cheaper price! Book your adventure before the 1st May 2008 and we'll give you a 5% discount on a booking for 2-3 people and a 10% reduction on bookings of 4 or more.

STORMY SEAS HIT NORTHERN SPAIN

SURF-ATLANTICO were out and about this weekend to capture the impressive swell that hit the Cantabrian coast. Armed with video camera and stills camera we had to dodge gigantic waves just to get a shot! Of course there were more tranquil moments when the sun came out, but the roar of the Bay of Biscay, throwing everything it had at the land, was ever-present and pretty incredible. Not a weekend to have taken the Ferry back to the UK...

We're offering to pay for any baggage charges for your board if you book any week-long surf adventure with us this Autumn. That means not only do you get an insanely cheap flight, (Ryanair Stansted to Santander only 1p!) but you don't need to pay those nasty baggage fees for your board.
Simply book an adventure with us before 30th November and we'll refund the baggage charge when you arrive in Spain.

DIRECT FLIGHTS WITH RYANAIR - ONLY 1p!!

Ryanair have released some insanely cheap flights direct to Santander from London Stansted. That means you can fly directly to your SURF-ATLANTICO adventure with no hassle or fuss. For a weekend getaway simply hop on the Friday afternoon flight at 3pm and you'll be starting your adventure with us by 6pm. Then return on the Sunday at 6pm. Even with taxes it works out at around 30 quid!!
We'll pick you up and drop you back to the airport, so you don't have to worry about anything. Plus, with all the boards, wetsuits, rash vests and wax you could need, you only need bring a small bag with you, thereby avoiding any nasty baggage charges. Now how's that for an offer?

We aim to: provide quality, safe surf instruction, guidance and supervision to all our clients - provide new experiences and adventure for all - be a carbon zero (or under) company - recycle and/or re-use wherever possible - respect the physical, social and economic environments we work within - use non-toxic, non-polluting materials wherever possible - promote greener living and greener business practise across Europe.

SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our policy is, wherever possible, to buy locally made environmentally friendly products. The accommodation options and restaurants used by SURF-ATLANTICO are all locally run small businesses. As well as giving local information verbally, whilst on the road during our surf-adventures, we also provide local guide books, maps and leaflets of local attractions and activities. We try to immerse our clients in the local culture as much as possible. We feel passionately about the places we take our clients and we hope to pass this enthusiasm on. SURF-ATLANTICO is a carbon zero (or below) company. By means of donation we offset all our carbon emissions, by helping RAINFOREST CONCERN in direct conservation projects, involving the protection and management of forested land to create protected reserves. SURF-ATLANTICO customers are also offered the opportunity to make a small payment to offset the carbon emissions for each tour and their travel made in arriving. SURF-ATLANTICO recycles all cans, plastics and glass used on its tours, as well as using re-usable cutlery and crockery. We also use non-toxic surf wax made by TERRAWAX, and CIRCLE ONE epoxy surfboards, which are far more durable and longer lasting, thus reducing the use of the harmful products utilized in constructing surfboards. We ensure that clients are aware of the reasons behind our environmental policies. We follow the principle, “take only photographs, leave only footprints” and encourage our guests to do likewise. We generally stay in international youth hostels and campsites. The hostels all promote recycling and water saving and we continue these policies whilst camping. Both these accommodation options are environmentally low-impact. SURF-ATLANTICO demand non-polluting, environmentally friendly, and socially respectful practises both from its clients, and from the businesses and organisations it is involved with. We offer the opportunity for guests to combine Spanish language classes with their surf tuition and continually inform our clients of the local customs and culture. We find this to be the main subject of conversation.
